Now that you know what your clothes are made of, let’s figure out how to take good care of them
While we are doing our part to make sure you have the best quality fabrics, we’d like to invite you to join forces to make our planet happier.
Wash Less frequently
Did you know? Every laundry cycle releases microfilaments into sewage systems, eventually reaching waterways. Approximately 500,000 tons of these pollutants find their way to the ocean annually, equivalent to the plastic pollution of over 50 billion bottles. |
Washing less is the easiest way to care for your clothes. How can you optimize your laundry cycles, you ask, it's simple.
Sundry for Odour: You do not have to wash your dress if it smells, legit. You can just sundry it. Statistically, it works 99.4% of the time (okay that’s a made-up stat but it still works). | Spot wash for Stains: Found a little stain on your dress? You can just wash the spot instead of tossing it in the laundry. |
Wash eco-friendly
Oh, if only we could live in a laundry-free paradise! But since laundry's a reality, here is how you can make the most out of every wash cycle while keeping your clothes new and saving the planet.
Use less detergent: Most laundry detergents contain approximately 35% to 75% phosphate salts which translates to a lot of pollution. The solution? Eco-friendly detergents! But if you don’t have access to them, just use less detergent. | Dry naturally: Drying a load of laundry using a machine dryer releases harmful microfibres into the air and water. Line drying your garment (unless stated otherwise on the label) is a great alternative and it happens to be eco-friendly too! | Use microfiber filter bags: Machine washing your garments after all? Use microfiber filtering bags to reduce the impact on the environment. |
